Canadian Homeowners Wish for Cleaner Air and More Energy-Efficient Heating

In a new poll conducted by the Canadian market research company, Ipsos-Reid, most homeowners surveyed would ideally like their homes to have cleaner air quality, and to have more energy and cost- efficient heat production.

One-third of homeowners have someone in the household that suffers from dust or other air-borne allergies, and 24% have regular visitors to their homes that also suffer from air-borne allergies. 71% of people believe that their allergies are exacerbated by their air circulation systems. The majority (83%) agree (31% strongly, and 52% somewhat) that they want to have cleaner air in their homes.
