Resetting comm bridge - Data stopped reporting

Issue: Data is no longer reporting online but was previoulsly reporting. Part one applies to all Aretas bridges. Part 2 only applies to Aretas PC Industrial Bridges. PC Industiral bridges have an external monitor port. 

  1. Reset Monitors & Communication Bridge: 

  • Unplug your monitors and bridge.

    • First: Re plug in your monitors and wait 2 minutes.  

      • Second: Plug in your communication bridge. 

        • Wait 5-10 minutes for the server to communicate and spool the data from the bridge.  

          • Login and review your online data analytics.

            • If data is still not reporting move on to the next step and try the following.

  2. Connect a monitor and keyboard to the communication bridge.

  • Plug in the bridge.

    • If you get a black boot up screen with a failure notice, hit the ENTER key once. This should accept updates to the bridge and allow it to boot normally.
           -  If this does not allow the bridge to boot, turn off the bridge again for 10 seconds and restart.
           -  If the bridge does not boot up, contact your Arteas rep.

  3. If your bridge has now booted up, you can disconnect the monitor and keyboard.

  • Allow 5-10 minutes for the bridge to access our servers and send fresh data packets for your review online.
